Getting Ready at Pelham House
Both the bride and groom got ready at Pelham House, which made the day flow smoothly. The venue has dedicated getting-ready rooms for both, ensuring no chance of seeing each other before the ceremony. This setup also makes it easier for a solo photographer like me to capture both preparations.
A Stunning Indoor Ceremony
Although it was a summer wedding, the couple chose an indoor ceremony, and it was an excellent choice. The ceremony room’s elegant decor created a romantic atmosphere. The couple loved the space so much that we even returned for a few portraits there before the wedding breakfast.
Memorable Highlights
One of my favourite moments was the bridal party group shot on the grand staircase. We added saved confetti for a fun and celebratory touch. Another standout photo was of the bride and her daughter under the veil, backlit by the setting sun—a magical and sweet image. To end the night, the couple’s dip kiss in front of the staircase added a romantic finish to their day.
